Lipovisor™, the medical device for detection of adipose tissue with scanner for high definition liposuction, performs a scan, thus enabling to detect and display the amount of fat deposits that was present, before, during and after a liposuction or liposculpting procedure, in three-dimensional images and with the use of high definition technology.

It is well known that in cosmetic or therapeutic treatments such as liposculpting, lipodrainage or other similar slimming and/or shaping treatments of the fat tissue in the human body, the specialised technician needs to know the exact quantities and distribution of such tissue as accurately as possible, in order to identify which part has to be removed.

In similar interventions it is essential to maintain a specific amount of fat tissue in order to re-shape the contours of the body, while on the other hand an inadequate accumulation or lack of fat, that haven’t been noticed by the operator will result in noticeable waves, depressions and sagging in the skin along with aesthetically unpleasant severe postoperative blemishes.
